Nigerian afro-fusion artiste, Damini Ogulu popularly known as Burna Boyas clinched the coveted ‘Best International Act’ award.

Mary J Blige finally got recognised with a Lifetime Achievement Award and a touching tribute that would bring tears to the eyes of those who have supported her since the late 80s when women were rarely seen at the forefront of the genre.

Actor, producer and director, Tyler Perry, was given the Ultimate Icon Award.

Nipsey Hussle was posthumously honoured with the Humanitarian Award.
