In order to make life easier on the vulnerable during the lockdown as the nation fights the spread of coronavirus, Chief Olanrewaju Adetula, a medical practitioner and wife of a chieftain of the All Progressive Congress (APC) and governorship aspirant in Ondo State, Bukola Adetula, has donated several items including food, toiletries, household and healthcare items to some orphanages across the state.
Presenting the items to the orphanages in the spirit of philanthropy and charity, Mrs Adetula said that she was happy to identify with the orphans who are mostly forgotten by the society because they do not have enough people to advance their plights.
Mrs Adetula advised everyone to always remember marginal members of the society especially orphans and the vulnerable especially during this challenging times.
It was an emotional moment for the children at the Hope orphanage home, along Irese road, Akure when the items arrived at the new facility of the orphanage compliments of Mrs. Adetula, whose family has a record of supporting orphanages in other parts of Nigeria and a handful of countries, that have benefited from similar donations.
Also at Gracegreg compassion home in Owo, Mrs Adetula’s presentation was received by an ecstatic team of care givers who felt elated about her kindhearted gesture, which was accompanied by her words of encouragement and assurances of continuing support. One of the children in the home identified as Tayo, appreciated the support of Dr. Mrs Adetula on behalf of the home and encouraged other well meaning Ondo State indigenes and residents to emulate her kind gesture by giving back to society.
