Oyo State has recorded another COVID-19 related death, bringing the number of fatalities from coronavirus infections in the state to seven.
Governor Seyi Makinde, who made the announcement on Tuesday via a post on twitter said the patient died on Monday.
The governor also said the COVID-19 confirmation tests for 13 suspected cases came back postive.
” Seven cases are from iSON Xperiences and the other six cases are from Oluyole, Egbeda and Ido Local Government Areas,” he said.
The development brings the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Oyo State to 305, out of which 190 cases are from the Ibadan-based outsourcing firm, iSON Xperiences.
Makinde further confirmed that one COVID-19 patient has received the second test result and has been discharged bringing the number of discharged cases in the state to 97.
