Despite signing a new four-year contract at the start of the this EPL season which ends today, Manchester United goalkeeper has reportedly threatened to quit the club if Coach Louis van Gaal is not sacked.
Reports say the Spaniard has grown disenchanted with life under the Dutch manager and sources at Old Trafford say De Gea, who is wanted by Real Madrid, will press to make the move happen.

Spanish media claim that Real are preparing to activate the 25-year-old shot-stopper’s £40million release clause which was written into his new deal last year.
According to Spanish daily AS, De Gea has a £40m clause in his contract which can be triggered before June 16 and the Spanish giants are weighing up a fresh bid.
According to DailyMail, the deadline means Real chief Florentino Perez has just under a month to wrap up a deal for the Spain international who he narrowly missed out on last summer.
Meanwhile, United are discussing whether to press ahead with a deal to sign Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who is a free agent after quitting Paris Saint-Germain and has declared a desire to play in the Premier League.
