Reports have it that Sean “Diddy” Combs and Cassie Ventura have ended their relationship after 11 years.
The couple amicably went their separte ways months ago and it appears Diddy has since moved on with 26-year-old model, Jocelyn Chew.
Combs, 48, and Ventura, 32, met in the early 2000s after she was signed to his Bad Boy Records label. They were first linked together back in 2007 and have collaborated a few times together, including on his 2008 tune “Swagga Like Puff” and her 2009 song “Must Be Love.”
Both have remained mum about their relationship in the press, attending events together but rarely speaking specifically about their pairing.
He is a father to six kids — sons Quincy Brown, 27, Justin, 24, Christian, 20, twin girls D’Lila Star and Jessie James, and daughter Chance, all 11 — through previous relationships with exes Misa Hylton-Brim, Kimberly Porter and Sarah Chapman.
The reported split has caused a frenzy on social media with many feeling sad that the 11 year relationship did nit end up in marriage.
But while promoting his new fragrance, 3AM, in 2015, Diddy explained that he was not ready for marriage even though he was not opposed to it. said he woukd commit to a love contract. So, it is nit immediately clear if the contract had existed or was eventually signed between him and Cassie.
His words: “It’s the whole thing of … I think you have to be ready for it,” explained the 46-year-old. “There’s somebody else’s heart involved and that’s a lot of responsibility. And I don’t want to be going to courts and having somebody be like interfere in my relationships so I rather just do the Goldie Hawn.”
Hawn and Kurt Russell have famously avoided marriage after 32 years of dating.
“I will give a contract,” Diddy added. “I will commit to a contract — a love contract.”
