Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, has debunked reports that he has dumped the campaign train of the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
Bello, in a post on his verified Facebook page on Sunday, said his unwavering support for Tinubu and his running mate, Kashim Shettima, in the 2023 presidential election remained undiluted.
A media outlet had claimed that the Kogi governor have dumped the Tinubu campaign.
According to the report, Bello, who is the National Youth Coordinator of the Tinubu-Shettima Presidential Campaign Council, may have taken the action due to the permutations in the North Central state ahead of the November 2023 governorship election.
Debunking the report, Bello said: “Kindly disregard every fake news being spread my mischievous media outlets. My unwavering support for Tinubu/Shettima 2023 is 100% undiluted. God bless APC!!! God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria!”
