Duncan Mighty has responded to accusations of wife battery which hit the news on Monday.
The ‘Fake Love’ singer was accused of beating his wife Vivien. Photos posted on social media showed the battered face of the woman, with reports saying the Port Harcourt snger had been beating his wife since they got married in 2015.
It was reported that the last beating took place on Saturday.
But in an Instagram post on Tuesday, Duncan Mighty debunked the wife battery claims, saying they were just an attempt to tarnish his rising profile.
To further dispel the rumours, he also shared a photo of him and his wife sharing a kiss.
He wrote in capital letters: “THE NEXT NEWS WILL BE I USED MY WIFE FOR COMING BACK,, WHAT DO YOU GAIN TO TARNISH MY IMAGE WITH LIES THAT I BRUTALIZED MY OWN WIFE,? HEHEHE UNA COME LATE::::::::::::::
Warning those behind the story to steer clear, he stated that his marriage will not be one of those that will break up on social media pages.
He added: “For your info I am the winner of my marriage my wife and kids can’t do without Daddy every moment,,, the more u make people hate me the more they love me more pls don’t allow these fools make u forget we dropping one of the biggest TUNE of our time AZA DAVIDO DUNCANMIGHTY PERUZI …… I LOVE MA FANS.”
Duncan and his wife have two children together.
