The Set Man of Passover Faith Christian Center, Pastor Olusola Oladeji, has called on Nigerians, especially the ruling class, to return to church for solutions to economic challenges facing the country.
Oladeji made the call while speaking with newsmen after the 2024 Mid-Year Interdenominational Thanksgiving and Encounter Service, in Osogbo on Sunday.
The cleric said Nigeria is blessed, noting that the only solution to the current challenges is to return to the Lord for guidance.
“Even with the present situation of the country, it is not everyone that complains. No matter the challenges we are facing, the solution is in the church. If politicians want to find solutions to the problem of Nigeria, they need to come to the church. If the president will find solutions to the challenges, the solutions are in the church.
“The people at the top must realise that they can not do it alone, they need to move close to the Lord,” he said.
On the policies of the Federal Government, Oladeji said, “no leader or government will roll out any policy with the aim of punishing its citizens or without positive intentions. President Bola Tinubu meant well when he removed fuel subsidy and when he floated the Naira. But the best decision will turn out to have the worst effect on the people if it is not backed with the spiritual power. All of us must gather to pray for Nigeria.”
He advised federal and state governments to raise “hunters of strong interception” for the country.
“I mean they should gather believers together and pray to God. I can tell you that we are going to see a change,” he added.
Oladeji commended spiritual fathers who have been supporting Nigeria with prayers, calling on Nigerians to pray more for the country.
