The Edo Government has declared five days holiday from Tuesday in honour of the late Oba of Benin, Omo N’Oba N’edo Uku Akpolokpolo Erediauwa.
the State Commissioner for Information, Mr Kassim Afegbua, said this in a statement issued in Benin on Tuesday.
According to the statement, only essential service providers, such as the fire service, security and health providers were exempt from observing the holiday.
