The EFCC has granted bail to former Presidential Spokesman, Dr. Reuben Abati, after about a week in detention.
Abati will however need to meet the bail conditions which include dropping his International Passport and producing a surety of not below Level 16 in the Civil Service.
While Abati is preparing to go home, the EFCC got a warrant to further detain former FCT Minister, Bala Mohammed.
Meanwhile, Deputy Senate President, Senator Ike Ekweremadu, Thursday, paid a solidarity visit to the detained former appointees of Jonathan’s government who are in EFCC custody.
Accordong to Vanguard, Ekweremadu’s visit to Mr. Femi Fani Kayode, Director of Publicity of the Jonathan Campaign Organisation, Dr. Reuben Abati, Jonathan’s Media Adviser and Mr. Bala Mohammed, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory under President Jonathan was supposed to be a morale booster as Ekweremadu reportedly told the detained past officials that they were paying same price of leadership paid by past leaders who were detained on different occasions in the leadership quest for the country
