The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is presently interrogating the immediate past minister of Interior, Abba Moro, over the March 2014 employment scam in the Nigerian Immigration Service.
He is being grilled for the scam, which led to the death of about 20 applicants in various recruitment centres across the country occasioned by stampede and fleecing of over 520,000 Nigerian graduate applicants to the tune of N520 million.
According to sources, the anti-graft had quizzed the Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Immigration Service on the same matter.
An official of the EFCC who confirmed the arrest of Mr. Moro said a team of investigators have already begun interrogating him.
