The immediate past ALGON Chairman in Oyo State, Prince Ayodeji Abass-Aleshinloye (MDII) has urged Nigerians to imbibe the spirit of godliness, charity, perseverance and spiritual intercession for the nation as the country joins rest of the world to celebrate Eid-el-Kabir.
Abass-Aleshinloye, in a message by his media office to commemorate this year’s Eid-el-Kabir celebration, advised Nigerians to always promote acts that would enhance national integration and brotherhood.
He urged Muslim faithful and adherents of other faiths to always demonstrate love and understanding towards one another in the quest for a greater and more prosperous Nigeria, describing sallah celebration as one that honours the willingness of Prophet Ibrahim to sacrifice his son to show submission to Allah’s command.
The former local government chairman enjoined Nigerians to continue to pray for the success of President Bola Tinubu’s administration as he continues to work hard to deliver on the Renewed Hope Agenda for the unity and sustainable national growth and development.
While wishing Nigerians, especially those of Islamic faith a happy sallah celebration, the Abass-Aleshinloye urged citizens to continue to pray and work for the peace and unity of the country.
