The lawmaker representing Ekiti South Senatorial District, Senator Abiodun Olujimi, has described the voting process in the on-going Ekiti State governorship election as seamless and impressive.
The People Democratic Party (PDP) Senator stated this while speaking with newsmean after casting her vote at Ward 7, Unit 7, Omuo Ekiti, on Saturday.
She described the process as very smooth and lauded the efforts of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) at ensuring a free fair electoral process.
“The process by INEC is good but it can be better. It took me about one minute from my contact with the first INEC officer and casting my vote. I believe the commission will improve on subsequent election,” she said.
Olujimi commended the massive turnout of voters, especially the youths, ascribing it to the way the electorate have been educated.
She also lauded the work of the security agents on ground for maintaining peace and orderliness in the state.
