The electoral committee for the election into the board of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has rolled out the time-table for the election slated for Friday, September 30, in Benin city, Edo State.
The election will see a new administration take the mantle from the Amaju Pinnick-led board that has been in charge of football in the country for eight years.
According to the committee, the electoral process will commence on Monday, August 29, with the sales of nomination forms, endorsements and return of forms. It is expected to end on Thursday, September 8, 2022.
The screening of the candidates is slated for Friday, September 9 and Saturday, September 10.
The list of successful candidates would be released on September 12 by the electoral committee.
Provisions were also made for petitions against the procedure, and the window to file petitions was slated for Monday, September 12, and Thursday, September 15.
The hearing of the appeals is fixed for Friday, September 16, and Saturday, September 17, at 12pm daily.
The final list of tsuccessful candidates would be released on Monday, September 19, with the campaigns of the successful candidates scheduled to kick off on Tuesday, September 20, and end by midnight of Thursday, September 29, 2022.
