Emmanuel Emenike has signed a “short term” deal with Greek Champions, Olympiacos, finally dumping Fenerbahce.
During his time at Fernerbache last season, Emenike made 14 appearances across all competitions – scoring four goals as they finished third in the Super Lig.
With the former Nigeria international a clear choice on the substitute bench, he opted to move to the Karaiskakis Stadium to get regular first-team football.
It was gathered that the deal would fetch him about €2 million a year (about N800 million).
“I want to let our fans know that I am here to play and give my best for the club. I will always give my best when I am on the pitch; for the club and its fans!,’’ Emenike told club website.
