Enwonwu redeployed as Oyo gets first female Commissioner of Police

A new Commissioner of Police has been posted to Oyo State. She is Mrs. Ngozi Onadeko and she the first female to occupy the position in the pacesetter state.

Onadeko will take over from Mr Nwachuckwu Enwonwu, who was posted to the state seven months ago.

The order for Onadeko’s posting  was given on Monday by the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Mohammed Adamu, according to OyoInsight.com.

The posting, is one of the major shake up in the Force by the IGP and it is with immediate effect.
