Chief Inengite Nitabai, the foster father of former President Goodluck Jonathan has been kidnapped.
Nitabai, 72, was said to have been kidnapped by heavily armed gunmen at about 3.30am at his residence in Otuoke, Ogbia Local Government Area of Bayelsa State.
Details of the abduction are still sketchy at the time of this report, but it was learnt that no family member had been contacted by the kidnappers at the time of this report.
This is not the first time Chief Nitabai would be kidnapped.
In 2014, he was abducted and the abductors demanded N500 million as ransom. They also rejected the N30 million offer from the victim’s family.
He was however released later that same year.
