Former Super Eagles’ captain, John Obi Mikel, took to Instagram on Tuesday, to celebrate his twin daughters, Ava and Mia’s, 6th birthday anniversary.
The former Chelsea midfielder, who retired from the national team after the Super Eagles won bronze at the 2019 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Egypt, celebrated his twin daughters’ birthday with adorable photos and videos.
While professing his love for them, Mikel said he is happy to see his girls grow up to the ‘ladies’ they want to be, and also proud to be their dad.
“Happy 6th birthday to my angels. So proud and so happy to see you two grow up to be the ladies you guys are and want to be. Strong, brave, full of confidence and most importantly full of joy and happiness. I love you guys so so much and so lucky and proud to be your daddy my world,” he wrote.
Meanwhile, fans and colleagues of the football star, including former Chelsea and England captain, John Terry, have all taken to the comment section of the post to celebrate his daughters’ birthday with him.
