Ace broadcaster, Edmund Obilo, has bowed out of Ibadan-based private radio station, Splash 105.5 FM.
Obilo, who is famous for his incisive interviews with prominent individuals, bold approach and intellectual based content, left the radio station today Monday June 13, 2016.
Newspeakonline exclusively gathered that the broadcaster left the media outlet after disagreements on terms of continued engagements.
The management of the radio station and Obilo, however, chose to keep the development under wraps for now.
Obilo won the hearts of many listeners over the years through his interview programme ‘Bulls Eye.’
The programme has also boosted the audience of the station with many agonizing when he was reported to have left the services of Splash FM last year.
His popularity soared into other states in Southwest Nigeria for his unique broadcasting approach.
The latest development would leave many of his fans worried about why he left Splash FM with many of them coming up with several conjectures on the next decision in his career.
