Former Minister of Aviation and All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain, Femi Fani-Kayode, has said the Obidient movement is dead politically.
Obidient is a political movement that support the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, who came third behind Asiwaju Bola Tinubu of the APC and Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the February 25, 2023 presidential election.
Fani-Kayode, in a post on his Twitter handle on Thursday, said comments by the Nobel Laureate, Professor Wole Soyinka, and Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, vindicated the stance of the APC on obidient movement.
“Our reverred Nobel Laureate, Professor Wole Soyinka and our dear brother Lai Mohammed have spoken.
“They have confirmed our concerns and vindicated our position,” he said.
According to him, the party will waste no more time responding to them, adding that they will henceforth “scream and shout like a headless chicken in the throes of death.”
“The Obidient movement is spritually and mortally wounded and politically dead. Thanks be to the Living God. We need waste no more time on them.
“They have found themselves in the merciless grip of karma as they slip quietly into the eternal darkness and burning fire of Gehanna, Sheol and Hades where they shall meet Shaitan, their lord and master
“RIP Obidiots: history will judge you harshly,” he wrote.
