After photos of ailing President Muhammadu Buhari and the seven governors who visited him in London on Wednesday emerged, many waited anxiously for what former PDP Presidential campaign spokesman would say about the photos.
Recall that he had described the one with APC leaders and some governors, including Rochas Okorocha of Imo, as an old picture simply meant to deceive Nigerians. He said he was reliably informed that the photo was taken during the last Ramadan.
But in his reaction this morning, Fani-Kayode refused to address the authenticity or otherwise of the photos.
He simply said: “The President and Presidency is not meant to be a tourist attraction, a museum of old fossils or a mausoleum of decaying bodies to be viewed by curious dignitaries in a distant foreign land. It is an act of cruelty to expect this poor man to lead a nation of 180 million. Let him resign, go home and rest!”
