Former Minister of Aviation and a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP), Femi Fani-Kayode, on Friday denied reports making the rounds that he has dumped the PDP and declared his support for President Muhammadu Buhari.
Fani Kayode was reacting to speculations that he has dumped his support for the presidential candidate of the PDP, Atiku Abubakar, following the release of Zainab Aliyu, the Nigerian student detained in Saudi Arabia for alleged drug trafficking.
Fani-Kayode said he only “commended Buhari’’ for the timely release of the Nigerian student.
Reacting on his verified Twitter page on, he described the reports as “false.”
