Fans of Nigerian singer, Ahmed Ololade, popularly known as Asake, has lamented the prices of the artist’s concert in Lagos.
Fans of the race of the moment expressed their displeasure after the prices of concert surfaced online.
The concert which is scheduled to hold in December had prices for tables and VIP only, with no provision for regular tickets.
Tickets for tables is between N3 million and N10 million while the VIP tickets, where the holders will stand throughout the show, goes for for N70,000.
The prices have elicited reactions from Nigerians, with many taking to microblogging site, Twitter, to lament how expensive the tickets are.
Speaking on how he has been budgeting for the show, Roni Elemi, said: “I actually feel really betrayed by the prices of Asake’s ticket. I’ve tried to play it cool all day but I am really sad.
“My friends and I were legit budgeting and doing song arrangement, only to be told that you never even had a chance to make it to the gate. Not fair.”
A fan, Igwe, wrote: “Asake indexed his pricing to the USD without considering the fact that we are simply too poor in Nigeria. Imagine paying $100 for a regular ticket. Wish him all the best but I am out.”
Revealing that it is not Asake who put prices on the ticket, Big gg said: “You guys realise that Asake isn’t the one that decides the ticket prices right?”
Another fan, Alabi, asked: “Abi make I sell my wife jewellery take buy Asake VIP ticket? 😵💫.”

A tweep, @TheMalileek, wrote: “70k for VIP wet I go still stand? Na now I understand wetin Asake mean by “prepare yourself.”
