A former Minister of Education and former Governorship candidate in Ogun State, Iyabo Anisulowo, has been kidnapped.
According to THE WILL, she was abducted on Wednesday evening in Ilaro in Yewa South local government area of Ogun State.
This has been confirmed by the Spokesperson for the Ogun State Police Command, Muyiwa Adejobi.
The spokesperson said the Commissioner of Police in the state, Mr. Abdulmajid Ali has detailed five teams to the area to effect her release. He urged the public to volunteer information.
Mrs. Ashimolowo was Minister during the regime of late Sani Abacha and later became a senator representing Ogun West Senatorial District.
