Former ALGON executive in Oyo State, otherwise known as Forum 68, has congratulated the Executive Secretary, National Sugar Development Council (NSDC), Mr Zacchaeus Adelabu Adedeji, on his appointment as the Special Adviser on Revenue to President Bola Tinubu.
Forum 68 in a congratulatory message signed by its chairman, Prince Ayodeji Abass-Aleshinloye MDII, described Adedeji’s appointment as an insertion of a round peg in a round hole.
“We commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for appointing Mr Zachaeus Adedeji as Special Adviser on Revenue. With this wise decision of yours, we are sure, and of no doubt that you have gotten a reliable and forward looking team player whose antecedents is never being questionable in any way.
“The appointment is a befitting development that is rooted in dedication, loyalty and history. The appointment is clearly fit for the purpose and is deserving of our own Zacch Adedeji, whose record of service as a former commissioner and renowned financial expert remains unblemished.
“As former Commissioner of Finance under the administration of late Governor Abiola Ajimobi, he displayed a high level of integrity, dedication and professionalism to service in the public sector.
“We are assured of your experience as a former Commissioner of Finance in Oyo State and previous work experience in the American multinational company- Procter and Gamble (P&G) and in other financial houses.
“Also, as a Fellow of Chartered Accountant (FCA),a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and member, Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN),we have no doubt that you will excel in the new assignment,” the group said.
