Four Boko Haram militants were on Wednesday arrested and paraded by Civilian JTF in Konduga during Governor Kashim Shettima’s visit to some youths of Malari village, in Konduga Local Government area of Borno state.
The suspected Boko Haram insurgents allegedly participated in the Monday attack on the villagers, in which nine persons were killed.
A civilian JTF member, Nuhu Kumshise who spoke to journalists said they arrested one of the suspects after his father had handed him and his cohorts to them.
Kumshise said: “We arrested them today after his father handed over them to us, then they led us into the bush where the two remaining guys hid themselves”.
While speaking to the displaced persons who were camped at a primary school, Malari Primary school, Gov. Shettima assured them that foodstuff and buses to convey them to Konduga had been arranged.
