Suspected Fulani herdsmen have killed yet another 11 persons in Benue State, just five days after killing over 20 in six communities in the state.
The recent attack occured at Tombo village in Logo local government area of the state in the early hours of Saturday when villagers were asleep. State police command spokesman, ASP Moses Yamu said only four persons were killed.
It was gathered that the herdsmen invaded the village, destroying houses and shooting people.
The Chief Press Secretary to the state governor, Mr Terver Akase, confirmed the report.
But the police spokesman said that the attack occurred late on Friday at Tombo village in Mbanaga district and that only four persons were killed.
