The Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) on the early hours of Sunday elected new members into its National Working Committee(NWC).
Despite the uncertainties over the several court cases, especially those instituted by the ousted national chairman, Uche Secondus, the party held its convention with many favourites and known names denied positions in the NWC.
Of the 21 vacant positions, 17 members contested unopposed.
The 21 newly elected members were drawn from the six geopolitical zones of the country.
