Alleged money laundering: CCB invites Keyamo over petition against Atiku

The crisis rocking the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) assumed a new dimension on Wednesday as the party’s Presidential Campaign Council constituted its campaign committee in Oyo State.

In a statement issued on Wednesday by the Director General of the PDP Presidential Campaign Council and governor of Sokoto State, Aminu Tambuwal, the name of Governor Seyi Makinde, who is a member of the G5, was missing

The G5 comprises governors opposed to the leadership of the party. They had distanced themselves from the campaign of the party’s presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, insisting that the resignation of Senator Iyioricha Ayu as PDP national chairman is the only condition to work for Atiku.

Led by Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State, other members of the G5 are Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi (Enugu), Samuel Ortom (Benue), Okezie Ikpeazu (Abia) and Makinde.

According to Tambuwal, the campaign council in Oyo State was put together after wide and extensive consultation with all stakeholders.

Tambuwal urged members of the committee to justify the confidence reposed in them by the presidential candidate and other stakeholders by working for the success of the party at the polls.

See members of the committee below;

Senator Hosea Agboola- Chairman, Alh. Hazeem Gbolarunmi- Vice Chairman, Hon. Moroof Akinwande- Director, Media and Publicity Hon Femi Josiah- Deputy Director Media and Publicity

Hon Mikhail Aborode- Deputy Director, Field Operation Hon Musah Abdulwasil- Deputy Director, Research and Strategy

Mrs Kemi Alabi- Deputy Director, Volunteer Groups Rt. Hon. Adeolu Adeleke- Deputy Director, Finance

Hon Nureni Adisa- Deputy Director, Election Management Hon Sumbo Owolabi- Deputy Director Documentation /Reporting

Alh Fariah Ibrahim- Deputy Director, Religious and Cultural Engagement

Adekola Adeoye & Hon Jumoke Ali- Deputy Director, Youth and Students

Engr Femi Babalola- Deputy Director, Security and Intellligence Hon Wale Adegoke- Deputy Director, Monitoring and Evaluation

Tambuwal noted that it is the wish of “our Presidential Candidate, H.E. Atiku Abubakar, GCON, and that of the entire PDP family that your contribution to the overall success of the assignment of the Council will justify the confidence reposed in each of you by the leadership of our great party.”
