The General Overseer (GO) of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Pastor Enoch Adeboye has said that God was yet to tell him that the 2023 election will hold.
Adeboye stated this while addressing the congregation at the November Holy Ghost night which held at the Redemption Camp along Lagos-Ibadan expressway Friday night.
The cleric had said the same thing during October edition of the programme.
He emphasized Friday night that he was not saying that election will not hold but that God was yet to confirm that the exercise will hold. He charged the worshippers to join him in offering special prayers for Nigeria. The special seven-day fasting and prayers are scheduled for November 26 to December, 2, 2022.
He said: “Up till now, Daddy hasn’t told me yet that there is going to be an election next year. All the same, anybody who comes to me seeking prayer, I pray for them. That’s my duty. I’m not frightening you. I’m just speaking as a pastor.
And I’m your pastor. I’m telling you that we need to pray, to thank Him for all He has been doing for us, ask for forgiveness and ask for mercy.”
