Hundreds of riders of Max.ng and Gokada on Friday protested the ban on operation of commercial motorcycles and tricycles in 15 Local Government Areas of Lagos.

The ban, which takes effect from Saturday, February 1, 2020, did not exempt popular ride hailing firms like ORide, Gokada and Max. Many have criticised the policy saying it will increase crime and unemployment and discourage start-ups.
