A special assistant to Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom, on Media, James Ornguga, has resigned his appointment following the governor’s defection from the All Progressive Congress (APC) to the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
Ornguga shared his resignation letter on his Facebook page on Thursday.
He also wrote: “I resign my appointment as Special Assistant to the Governor of Benue State on Media.
“My special thanks to the Executive Governor of Benue State for giving me the opportunity to serve in this capacity.
“I am grateful to CPS Terver Akase and PPS Steven Amase who recommended me for this appointment.
“My special appreciation to my colleagues and friends on the other side of the political divide and APC supporters in Benue.
“My wife, Joyce Ornguga has been a huge inspiration, oiling my pen always and I thank her for understanding with me as I take this decision.
“I look forward to serving Benue and Nigeria in other capacities in the near future.”
