A civil rights group, Concerned Nigerians, have concluded plans to begin a daily sit out in Abuja if President Muhammadu Buhari does not return to Nigeria after 90 days of being away on medical vacation.
The group’s leader, Deji Adeyanju, on Twitter, urged Nigerians to join the call.
He tweeted: “Only way we can know if Buhari is fit to continue when he comes back is by setting up a Committee on his health as stipulated in section 144”
“After 85 days away from Nigeria on medical tourism, is it too much to ask that Buhari return & resume work? Daily Sit-Out begins August 7th”
