A group of Nigerians have reportedly purchased the Presidential expresion of interst and nomination form of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for President Muhammadu Buhari
The president’s spokesperson on new media, Bashir Ahmad, said on Twitter that the N45million expression-of-interest form was bought by “a group of good Nigerians”.
He tweeted: “While President @MBuhari is far in China, a group of good Nigerians bought expression of interest form and nomination form for him.”
National Chairman of the party, Adams Oshiomole, received the team of supporters, who went to APC’s headquarter to pick the form on behalf of the President.
In 2015, Buhari claimed to be unable to afford the presidential nomination form, and was bought for him by supporters.
