Gunmen have kidnapped three workers of a farm reportedly owned by former President Olusegun Obasanjo, in Kobape, Obafemi-Owode Local Government Area of Ogun State.
It was gathered that the kidnappers waylaid the workers on Wednesday evening at Obasanjo holdings, shot at their vehicle and took them away.
The workers, whose names could not be ascertained, were identified as financial controller, group auditor and group store manager.
The Ogun State Police Command spokesperson, Abimbola Oyeyemi, confirmed the incident in a terse statement on Wednesday evening.
“Three people were kidnapped today (Wednesday) around 6pm. There is Obasanjo farm around the area in Kobape.
“Our men have begun searching for them and we will ensure they are rescued,” Oyeyemi said.
