A Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain in Oyo State and an ally of Governor Seyi Makinde, Otunba Benedict Akika, popularly known as Benee, has reportedly been kidnapped by gunmen.
It was gathered that Benee was abducted at his Olorunda-Aba residence in Lagelu local government area of Oyo state on Wednesday night.
Details of Akika’s kidnap is still sketchy as of the time of filing this report, but unconfirmed report said one person was killed by the the gunmen during the incident.
