Less than four days to the general elections, unknown gunmen have blown up the administrative office of the Okehi Local Government Area of Kogi State.
It was gathered that the incident happened on Monday night when the terrorists invaded the area with some explosives.
The state’s police command spokesperson, William Ovye Aya, confirmed the incident in a statement.
According to him, the command had commenced an investigation to unravel the cause of the attack.
Recall that Islamic State’s West Africa Province (ISWAP) had claimed responsibility for a car bomb explosion that killed about four people and injured several others in Okene Local Government Area of Kogi State in January.
