While many across the world were showering Queen Elizabeth II with good wishes on her 90th birthday yesterday, Scottish musician, Alex Kapranos did the unusual on Twitter. He “kind of wished” the queen dead!
His tweet came after he heard of the death of US music icon, Prince. Prince died on Thursday, same day the queen turned 90.
According to Kapranos, Prince and Her Majesty died the ‘wrong way round’.
He tweeted:
‘Queen and Prince. Wrong way round’.
And he was hit back by angry followers
Kapranos is Scottish, leader of the music band, Franz Ferdinand. He has never hidden his anti-Royalist views.
Last year, he received a massive backlash for re-posting an article about how much Her Majesty makes from Scotland.
