Nigerian singer, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has congratulated the people of Osun State following the affirmation of his uncle, Senator Ademola Adeleke, as the state governor by the Supreme Court.
The singer, who is a nephew to the governor, in a post on his Instagram story on Tuesday described the victory as freedom time.
“It has been a long battle. Congratulations to the Osun people. It is indeed freedom time. The battle has been on for years but God has been with us. Congratulations to everyone @aadeleke_01,” he wrote
Recall that the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Gboyega Oyetola took the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Adeleke, to court following his declaration as the winner of the July 16, 2022 governorship election by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
