A governorship aspirant on the platform of the PDP in Oyo state has criticise other aspirants promising to continue with the agenda of Governor Abiola Ajimobi if elected .
In a statement issued by the Seyi Makinde organisation and signed by Prince Dotun Oyelade, Makinde said he plans to do everything differently because he wants to steer the Oyo state away from being a debtor state.
“I still don’t understand why an aspirant will say he’ll continue the regime of sufferings, treating pensioners with disdain, reckless external borrowing, dabbling into our revered traditional institutions, neglecting educational and health sectors in spite of stupendous amount of money accruing to the administration,” Makinde said
He posited that if Governor Ajimobi is allowed to choose his own successor, Oyo state will be in worse financial bondage especially with the APC aspirants already pledging to continue with his style of leadership.
According to Makinde, the problem with Oyo state is “misplaced priorities bothering on preference for self serving projects rather than care for the populace”
