Janet Jackson has released her new single “Made for Now” an afrobeat inspired collaboration with Daddy Yankee.
The collaboration, “Made For Now” is Janet’s first single release since Unbreakable’s Damn Baby in 2015. It was her 11th album.
The single was produced by Harmony Samuels. The music video was filmed in New York in July and directed by Dave Meyers.
Janet premiered the video on Total Request Live (TRL) a television series that features popular music in the US. She’ll be performing the track for the first time on “The Tonight Show” Starring Jimmy Fallon.
Since September 2017, Janet has been on the road performing her State of the World tour. She’s currently on the last leg with the tour coming to an end in October.
