The meeting of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) will not hold today.
Femi Adesina, Special Adviser to President Muhammadu Buhari, disclosed this in a statement this morning.
While President Buhari was away on medical vacation, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, in his capacity as Acting President, presided over the FEC meeting.
Adesina’s statement however said that the President will receive the Report of the investigation committee into the allegations against the suspended Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Babachir Lawal and the Director-General of the National Intelligence Agency (NIA), Ayo Oke, today at 12noon.
The committee was headed by Osinbajo.
