Vfs Global, the exclusive service provider for the Government of Canada, authorized to provide administrative support services to visa applicants in Nigeria, says its visa application centres in Lagos and Abuja will re-open for business on Monday, August 24.
In a statement on its website, Vfs Global said it will only provide the following limited services until further notice:
1. Biometrics collection for Biometric Instruction Letter holders only.
2. Return of decision envelopes to applicants.
It, however, added that: “Collection of decision envelopes in-person at the VAC is not permitted until further notice. Please refer to the “Buy Services” page of this website for further information on courier services offered by the VAC.”
According to the statement, the opening hours of the VAC will be as follows, until further notice:
– Business Hours: Monday – Friday: 9:00am to 2pm
“Due to COVID-19 outbreak, the VAC may be implementing additional measures to ensure health and safety of applicants,” the statement added.
