The Department of State Services(DSS) on Friday rearrested the convener of #RevolutionNow protest, Omoyele Sowore.
He has been taken to the headquarters of the DSS.
Recall that the DSS reluctantly released the activist on bail on Thursday following a 24-hour ultimatum by Justice Ijeoma Ojukwu.
According to SaharaReporters, as the drama unfolded on Friday, the DSS operatives also chased away the presiding judge, Justice Ojukwu and assaulted a journalist in their bid to rearrest the duo.
Reacting to the development, Sowore said the DSS operatives who appeared to be laying an ambush for him ahead of the close of the Friday’s proceedings, were on the move to kill him.
