The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has fixed Saturday, April 15, for the conduct of supplementary governorship elections in Kebbi and Adamawa States.
INEC declared the March 18 governorship elections in both states inconclusive.
But a statement signed on Monday by the commission’s National Commissioner and Chairman, Voter and Information Education Committee, Festus Okoye, said national and state assembly supplementary elections will also take place on April 15.
“Arising from its meeting held today, the Independent National Electoral Commission has decided that all outstanding Governorship, National and State Assembly supplementary elections will take place on Saturday, April 15, 2023.
“A detailed official statement will follow shortly,” the statement read.
