A two-storey building under construction on Freeman road in Lagos Island has collapsed.
According to reports, the building collapsed after heavy rainfall.
A body has been recovered from the rubble of the building, while one person has been rescued.
Officials of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), and firefighters are currently at the scene of the incident.
Lagos State has recorded three incidents of building collapse in Yaba, Ebute Metta and Okota in recent months.
