Former Super Eagles skipper, Nwankwo Kanu has been voted as the 13th greatest player to have played for Arsenal. This was according to a poll conducted by the Arsenal fans on the club’s website.
Kanu, who spent five yars in Arsenal, is best remembered for his hat-trick against Chelsea in an F.A Cup match in October, 1999.
Fifty greatest players for the club were selected and French legend Thierry Henry was voted number 1 greatest player for the gunners.
Dennis Bergkamp came in second, while Tony Adams, Ian Wright and Patrick Viera came third, fourth and fifth respectively.
