About 12 armed operatives of the NDLEA have taken over Buruji Kashamu’s bedroom in his Lekki, Lagos residence, forcing the Senator-elect to escape to his bathroom where he has since locked himself in.
This was confirmed by his counsel, Ajibola Oloyede, who told Sunrise Daily on Channels TV this morning that he had been speaking to his principal through the door of his bathroom.
The NDLEA have refused to vacate Kashamu’s residence in spite of a court order asking them to do so.
The NDLEA spokesman, Mitchel Ofojeju, confirmed that the operatives were still at Kashamu’s residence and that they have the right to be there.
