Former governor of Oyo state, Senator Rashidi Ladoja may have confirmed his exit from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the African Democratic Party (ADC) after a meeting with former President Olusegun Obasanjo on Wednesday.
The meetng which was held at the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library also had in attendance, Senator Monsurat Sunmonu, lawmaker representing Oyo Central Senatorial district, who rcently decamped from the All Progressves Congress (APC); representatives of 16 House of Assembly members and political leaders from Oyo state including Dr Busari Adebisi, Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli, Chief Olayiwola Olakojo.
Former governor of Osun state, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola and former Secretary to the State Government, Chief Michael Koleoso were also in attendance.
The formal launch of the ADC was perfected at the meeting and an eight-member caretaker committee is set to be inaugurated on Thursday to take charge of the Oyo State chapter of the party.
Reports have it that the Labour Party in Oyo state have resolved to fuse with the ADC.
