Akinwande Soji-Ojo
Oyo State Governor, ‘Seyi Makinde, and his wife, Omini, have casted their votes at Ward 11, Polling Unit 001, Abayomi, Iwo Road, in Ibadan North East Local Government.
The governor and his wife arrived the polling unit at about 10.30am.
Speaking with journalists after casting his vote, Makinde appreciated the people of Oyo State for coming out to exercise their civic rights, and asked others who have not vote to to come out and exercise their civic responsibilities.
He also described the voting process as peaceful, and commended INEC and security agencies for doing a good job.
